Scholarship Granting Organization (SGO)

The state of Ohio’s Scholarship Granting Organization (SGO) tax credit authorizes donors who contribute to K-12 student scholarships through a certified SGO to receive a dollar-for-dollar reduction in their state taxes up to $750 per individual taxpayer. Your gift to the Ohio Christian Education Network SGO (OCEN SGO) will go directly to a scholarship for a student attending a participating school of your choice.

Your gift to OCEN SGO will be used to award scholarships to worthy students attending participating schools within the Ohio Christian Education Network.

It's easy to give!  Simply click on the way you’d like to donate. When you designate the school that you would like to receive the scholarship, we ask that you choose Shepherd Christian.  You can be certain your gift will fund a scholarship with priority given to students in financial need.

Apply for a Scholarship

OCEN/SGO – Students are now eligible to apply for a scholarship to attend our school through the Ohio Christian Education Network Scholarship Granting Organization (OCEN SGO). The scholarships are funded through the generous gifts of members of our school community and others across the state.  While all students are eligible to apply for and receive a scholarship, awards will be prioritized for students with a demonstrated financial need.  Award amounts may vary.  Applications will be available on December 15th.  To apply click here  to submit your application during the open application window.
