We are excited that you are considering Shepherd Christian for your child next school year. Here at Shepherd Christian we offer Pre-K through 8th grade. Open enrollment for new families starts in January 2026. The application link will be available at that time.
If you have not toured our beautiful campus, our tours will begin in November. Please check back here at that time so sign up online. We would love to give you a tour of our school and meet you in person to learn more about what you are looking for in a private school.

Admission Kindergarten - 8th Grade
Grade Placement Criteria
Kindergarten
Students must be 5 years old on or before August 1.
First - Eighth Grades
Students must have successfully completed the previous grade.

Application Process
- Fill out an online application for the intended program.
PreK-8 Application. Online applications available in January 2026. An application fee of $200 will be required at the end of the online application.
Extended Care Application for next school year will be available in April 2026. - Once the online application has been submitted, a grade representative will schedule student testing (K-8) based on available classroom space. A $50.00 testing fee is due at the time of assessment.
- Approval of admission to Shepherd Christian School will be based on:
Student testing results
Previous years’ grade cards/progress reports
Acceptable completion of student forms
Parent and student interviews
Available Space - After student testing, you will be contacted for a family interview with a member of the Administrative team.
- Enrollment decisions are made by the administration team.
- Once accepted, you must complete the online enrollment packet within two weeks of acceptance.
- A student with academic, attendance, attitudinal, disciplinary or psychological problems may be refused admission to Shepherd Christian School.
- Any student transferring from another private school must have met all financial obligations to the previous school(s) before being enrolled at Shepherd Christian School.
- Enrollment applications will need to be accepted first to be considered for the EdChoice scholarship,
