K-12 education is meant to prepare students for adult life, but the worldview from which that education is presented is crucial. As believers, we must view the world through a biblical lens, using Scripture as our foundation (Romans 12:2; Psalm 119:105). Without God's Word, the worldview is built on man's ideas, which are flawed and ever-changing.
Why Shepherd Christian School?
Shepherd Christian School (SCS) offers an education grounded in the person, life, teachings, and Word of Jesus Christ. While our teachers challenge students to strive for academic excellence and our coaches push students to excel in athletics, SCS also emphasizes building Christian character and fostering a strong community culture. Shepherd Christian School’s mission is to Educate for Life. With over 25 years of exceptional, Christ-centered education, God has faithfully worked through SCS to equip students to serve Him and impact the world through biblical thought and action. We believe, as stated in Colossians 1, that all things are held together in and through Jesus Christ. This truth is what drives us to grow and serve once again.
